Oh wow that sounds amazing :-)

Hmm animal theme favours...I've seen some rather cool face cloths folded in animal shapes wich you can get on ebay. You could perhaps look for animal shaped soap?

It's a hard one really, ill have a think on it for you.

Thankyou i will have a look at soaps ;-) never thought of that,

I loved your cake idea!! Heres one that i like the look of, with the figures dressed as the bride and groom on elephant though!! I love the idea of cake pops! I really wanted to make my own wedding cake but im scared something will go wrong during the transport so i am going to order one!

I think the photo oppotunties where what really sold the zoo for us. We live in nottinghamshire so are getting married at Tywcross Zoo..we are hoping to visit Edinburgh zoo this year to see the pandas..it looks amazing!

I know what you mean about the childrens party thing, i wanted to have a small zoo theme but not have it take over everything x

WOW! Lucky you! Congratulations and welcome!

What's wrong with it looking like a kid's party, I say? It'll be a darn sight cheaper and a whole bag of fun! Have a big kid's party!!

A few suggestions... Biscuits in the shape of animals. A donation to the zoo or an animal charity on behalf of guests. I think you can get little animal shaped soaps from the body shop. That's all I can think of now.

    Wow that's so cool!

I think its been mentioned but Have you considers cake pops? We are looking at them and I have seen some awesome animal ones like these http://www.popbakery.co.uk/gallery/. Not recommending these people as I haven't used them but liked the pic!

Having said that, nothing wrong with a children's party haha!

WOAH, wedding at a zoo, AMAZING! That's going on my bucketlist of wedding things to photograph!

Sorry, not helpful, more of an appreciation post!

Ummm favour ideas... some sort of animal wine charm or ornament? I like the idea of something related to animal conservation, like a donation on everyone's behalf.

I have photographed at London and Whipsnade many times....... I do love a zoo wedding......particularly when the keepers allow some interaction with some of the animals for the bride and groom....

    Hiya!

I've never done a zoo themed wedding before, that would be spectacular!

Anyway, I know these are still fairly 'kiddy' but I love them!

Of course, being as you're in the zoo, you could always do an adopt the animal scheme, as a wedding favour. Guests could take home a little pic and a certificate?

    Just an idea!

    Pete

We had our son's naming ceremony at Twycross and my OH proposed to me during the ceremony! It was an amazing day and everyone loved the quirkyness of it!

We named each table after an animal and borrowed large soft toys from the zoo shop for the centrepieces, looked effective and kept costs to a minimum!

I could go mad on animal print stuff though...i saw animal print tissue packs in Primark.....we are having tissues with "for your tears of joy" on them!

    xx
