Getting married earlier help needed

Debfitz, 8 of August of 2023 at 19:33 Posted on Planning 0 1
Hi all, we are getting married at The Orangery, Maidstone in July 2024. However, the grooms Dad has just been diagnosed with stage 3-4 cancer and told he has a maximum of 1 year 😭 so we are now looking to see if we can book a quick registry office service for our immediate family but I don't know what that means for the service at The Orangery. Does anyone know whether they will still be able to accommodate us and do it as a blessing rather than a proper marriage? I'm asking on here now as they are closed and hoping someone here may know the answer to this x

    Evening!

So sorry to hear this news, can’t imagine how you feel!
As long as it’s not a religious venue, you can have a humanist or celebrant wedding still yes x
