We are wanting to get married in Corfu. My idea is for the ceremony to take place on a beach or a jeti or something on the beach and then the reception at a taverna. From what I have read, you have to do the legal marriage ceremony at the town hall first and then a blessing at your choice of ceremony venue. I really don't want to do this as I think it defeats the whole object of the special moment of walking down the aisle and taking your vows etc.
HELP does anyone know if you can have a registrar to marry you legally elsewhere other than a registry office in Corfu?
ANY advice would really help.
