I quite like ball gowns just not on me however not that big lol. Apart from the random furniture and small children you would collect as the day goes on do they even fit down aisles? And let's not even start on trips to the loo haha.
one of these would be an essential to carry you to the venue in them dresses as I doubt you would get in a car lol the image of that 2nd girl in the dress hanging off the end of this on her way to her venue has be giggling away to myself in the office ha
You need a winter wedding chaffinch or would sweat buckets. Mind you could have battery fans up them as no-one would know. A wide aisle. Hope your dad has long arms!
Hahaha they were around in the 80's my next door neighbour had one in her loo on the windowsill. I remember thinking ooooo barbie and realising that it wasn't.
Each to their own and I am intreigued seeing them but honestly I dont get it
many of these brides suffer perminant damage from these dresses (scars on the hip bones from the weight and mesh material grating the skin are apparently very common from gypsy dresses)... who wants something that will physically hurt them ?
and no one can move in them, I plan to glide down the aisle not flail like im trying to fight my way out of a paper bag ☹️
I also dont get the attitude surround it... one of my favorite big fat gypsy wedding moments was an interview with a girl that went along the lines of
girl - 'I want a big dress because it unique, different, stand out and one of a kind'
interviewer - 'would you ever wear a fitted dress'
girl - 'ew no, nobody ever wears them'
? so basically you want to be 'different', 'unique', 'stand out' and 'one of a kind' by wearing and doing EXACTLY what everyone else does lol
I thought I liked big dresses, well that was until I tried one on! I just looked like a big fat ball of fluffy material with a little head sticking out! Not quite the bridal look I was going for!
