Giving Marriage Notice

Hi everyone,

I need to give notice of marriage and i wondered what documents i need to take with me?

I have never done this before and i do not want to get there and have the wrong documents. I am starting to panic even though i have plenty of time

We had to take proof of identity and address, so passport or photocard driving licence, birth certificate, current utility bill. But at our registry office, they ask you to make an appointment, so we did a provisional booking for our wedding date over the phone and they then sent us a confirmation through the post which included the date by which we needed to have given notice of marriage, how to make the appointment and what documents to bring.
