Giving notice help

Rachel, 19 December, 2022 at 21:28 Posted on Planning 0 3

Hello. Possibly silly question. Does my fiance need to apply to give notice separately to me?
Everywhere I look says £35 per person, I applied for a date this week and was only charged £35. I was expecting £70.I may be being dim but does that mean my fiance needs to apply to give notice as well - as a separate booking?TIA! Xxx

Hello, yes I had to book 2 appointments. Each being half hour long and £35. We managed to get a double slot so we can go along at the same time but do our appointments back to back.

Hopefully if you contact them to explain they should be able to sort you out any date x

You can have a double appointment to do it together but if you’ve only been charged £35 that will only be for you I imagine ☺️

Ah! Thank you Ellen and Louise. I emailed and they confirmed that I'd booked it wrong if I wanted both lol. Got it sorted both doing it same time on Friday now.
Many thanks for replying 😘🥰 xxx
