I think I understand the rules and have spoken to council but just checking my evidence.
We are both British citizens, living abroad, we need to give notice and understand need 8 clear days to give notice on the 9th day. We both still have our UK bank accounts and use them regularly. We will be staying with my sister in London where we have both lived before, would our bank statements dated within 1 month with that address be sufficient for proof of address? Do we still need to provide a letter from my sister to say we have been there for 8 days? What kind of evidence for our usual address would they need, I am assuming a bank statement would suffice.
I will confirm this with the council but just wondering what others have done!
