Grandmother of the bride

Wife In Training, 8 of March of 2014 at 17:35 Posted on Planning 0 4

Hello there,

Just wondering if anyone can point me in the direction of where to get a wedding outfit for my Nan who will be 83 when we get married in November.

She hasn't been very well recently and whilst I keep reassuring her that there is plenty of time until the wedding she is fretting about her outfit now! She can't really get around the shops so I think I'm going to need to find a few online options for her but other than Bon Marche I can't think of anywhere else to look! Does anyone have any suggestions?

Thanks : )

Depending if she wants a 2 piece or a dress, there are lots of options. Just look up 'mother of the bride':

    Hello

I also have a Grandmother of the Bride (Age 86) to dress for my daughter's wedding in May 2018 but we have the added problem that she can only wear viscose, cotton or silk. That is - no man-made fabrics! Online searches don't seem to help much. Luckily she can still get to the shops but it just narrows down our option. Any ideas anyone? Thank you

My partners mum can't wear any man-made fabrics either which definitely makes it more of a challenge. I took her to Bon Marche (they have alot more options on-line that aren't in the shops as well) and now she's ended up with 4 dresses and the problem is she now can't decide which to wear! It's definitely a better problem to have thought

Book her in for the personal shopper service at Debenhams. It's far easier for her than a normal shopping trip.
