    What a lovely idea.

Do you mean for him to open on your wedding morning?

Perhaps some pants/socks, cufflinks, aftershave etc. And a pic of you, or something special for later?!

I would put a little note in too I think.

Do you mean a little kit to get him through the day?

I was thinking maybe some deodrant, toothbrush and paste, refreshing wipes, mints....I did even think about getting him a spare shirt so he could change for the evening!! Oh and a small bottle of brandy for his nerves. ?

Is that what you were thinking?

Yeah along those lines - its more of a quirky gift for him to be honest so I migt steer clear of mouth wash that sort of thing as he will have that already. I'm buying him a nice watch as a big gift

Pants...hmmmm - he keeps telling me that he has bought his wedding pants - the mind boggles!!!! ?

Was thinking - a can of coke (our standard hangover cure), his fave choccie bar, a CD by his fave band...

Or - lets be controversal - is it worth it - shall I just get the watch

I'm doing something similar. I've got him this t-shirt for the day after the wedding:

I am thinking of doing this too! I may also include cufflinks which say 'see you at 2pm', immodium, paracetamol (in case he's hungover), personalised bathrobe, tissues, hayfever tablets, undies, spare rings(!), mints for 'kiss your bride' breath, vodka minature, pen & paper (in case he still needs to write his speech!), CD of songs we love for him to play while he gets ready and some socks saying 'so you don't get cold feet'.

I got loads of ideas from fellow hitchers! x

We have agreed not to buy eachother anything, although I have bought h2b a card & a book. I think I will get him some cufflinks. I wanted to buy him a watch, but I simply cannot afford the one I would like to get him, so he'll have to wait for his 1st anniversary!

I don't think my h2b will have much time in the morning to appreciate a survival pack, so I might get something for us to both enjoy when we're in our hotel after the wedding ;-)

    Why?

Most men pack 10 times lighter than a woman, know how to shave, and put socks on.. I cant see the point really

I agree perhaps you don't need mouthwash etc that he will have already, but nice little things that will show that you're thinking about him on the one morning you can't be together.

    Why? - Romance.

WSS!! Youre getting married and its such a special day. Why not do something lovely and fun for H2b to enjoy and laugh at on the morning of the wedding

As a wedding photographer, your job relates to weddings, so surely you can appreciate why?
