Groomsmen cufflinks ideas

icklesal, 27 April, 2014 at 11:18 Posted on Planning 0 12

So my h2b is having a real stress over cufflinks for his groomsmen (bless him!), he doesn't want matching ones but he wants a theme. For example he was thinking of footie teams but then he realised Our nephew (usher) doesn't like footie at all so would be the odd one out. He doesn't want superheroes, personal hobbies are out as he doesn't like that idea either. Does anyone have any ideas at all?

The man is obsessed, it's kinda cute tho and I'm glad he is taking an interest in some of the wedding.

Maybe they could just have the same cufflinks in different colours and get them matching socks too?

I cannot flash you the photos as the bride and groom have not seen them yet. But last week they had sporting ones cricket bat, rugby ball foot ball, and so on, all the looking the same metal but different items.

Or what about just cuflinks with each of their rolls on them

I know that you dont want them but here is a shot from a wedding that had the super heros, it may help others who are looking, because as you can see there are plenty to choose from.

There are loads of things you can do:

colours, monograms, birthstones, letters, names, roles, wedding date etc etc

check on Bouticca and Not On The High St

I've just ordered some for my husband for his birthday from this lady on Facebook. https://www.facebook.com/carol.thornton.7399 Sorry I can't remember her page.

She does silver sixpences, threepenny bits, scrabble etc. They are at the post office waiting for me to collect them so just get in touch if you want a review once I've actually opened them! They are only about £5-6 a pair plus postage.

Our lot had cufflinks that suited them- my bother had computer chip ones, the other brother policeman helmets, bestman Staffordshire terriers. and the dad had gerneric father of the groom / bride ones.

There's a guy who makes cufflinks out of old silver coins, now I know this link seems like it'd be totally dodgy but it really isn't, for some reason he has the funniest business name but he makes gorgeous jewellery lol His url is... hairygrowler.co.uk
