'Guest book' wording help

Instead of a guest book we are making a quilt, so..

Please use the gold pen

and take a fabric square

to leave us a wedding message

or any advice you'd like to share

I'm afraid I have no suggestions for the wording, but just wanted to say that I think it's a really lovely idea!

Love birds I really like that! Much better than anything me or my OH have come up with so far.

That is the best idea I've ever heard (I'm a fellow quilter so am really excited - and gutted I didn't think of it!) My guest book ended up having only about 6 entries in...☹️

I like your wording suggestion and also the second one that rhymes.

Thank you ladies for the positive responses, my MIL doesn't like it as it isn't 'traditional', but then most of our wedding isn't, so it is nice to get some positive feedback .

tybolt it was one of the first things I thought of as I wanted a guest book that I will be able to keep out and look at as I know I would probably never look at an actual book again!

I always hoped I'd be able to make a patchwork quilt for my wedding day as a present for the both of us. But unfortunately life got in the way and I just didn't have the time. Oh well, isn't there a "cotton" wedding anniversary?
