Had my boudoir shoot yesterday...

...and it was AMAZING!!! BUUUUTTTT I seem to have pulled all my muscles including ones I didn't know I had lol!

I got there early but they were great and just got started straight away. I wasn't sure how comfortable I was going to be given I seem to totally obsess about my flaws and have never even gone topless on a beach (all the way there I was trying to remember what had possessed me to book it!) but I felt so at ease I did all the underwear on and underwear off shots!! I now have a disc of over 200 unedited images to whittle it down for the album and let them know for the editing.

I had an absolute blast and would really recommend it to anyone. I went with Mighty Aphrodite in Reading and both Leigh and Zena were fantastic throughout! Soooo pleased with my pics even though they haven't been 'touched up' yet

    Are you from Reading Jem??

    Whereabouts in Reading is the place and how much was it?

    Glad you had fun!

    Most of the ones I've seen are a bit more than I'd like to spend. I did think of the FYEO mini-shoot in High Wycombe. It's £50 but you only get one photo... Extra prints are £79 which seems a little steep when you could just go back and have another shoot! ?

    OK! these are unedited though but just a couple as you asked so nicely!!! There are sooo many I love but here's just a few...




    GB, I'm not from Reading but spent hours on the internet comparing pics and prices from different companies. They are about 15 mins out of the city in a small village in the countryside but not difficult to find. (Only a couple of miles from DeVere Wokefield Park which was handy as we stayed over). They do several different packages but I had Package 2 which was £675 and includes a 12"x8" album of 18 pics all gift boxed and full makeup (and took 4 hours!!lol). It is expensive but sooo worth it! I have always been picked on for my weight and my mum is still doing it now but doing this just made me feel so much better about myself and I haven't stopped smiling yet, just so much more confident!

    Sid thanks ?, I was terrified about it and spent the entire drive there askin oh why I was doing it but within half an hour of getting there I was totally calm and relaxed and enjoying myself!

    Mines going to be a surprise - I probably wouldnt feel so bad if I could talk about it with OH! lol. I think its just the uncertainty of wondering whether he will like it or not. ?

    They are great Jem, you look amazing. I'd love to do something like this, just can't afford it. But I have heard they do wonders for the confidence.

    Thanks zippy, I had to use the plastic but it really has done so much for my confidence, I wouldnt have believed anything could make such a difference, it's amazing

    Just a local photographer - no one big. OH works from home, so I am going to have to plan some proper secret agent stuff to get out of the house on the day with a bag full of saucy undies! hehe
