Hi all
Marcie I couldnt message you back so I'll wrote it here.
I had my wedding last week Saturday. Was absolutely amazing. My original MUA cancelled on me due to family emergency the day before but she was sending a replacement. The replacement called me Friday and sounded lovely .The morning of the wedding was fine I was calm my MUA was an hour late and so I was 45 50mins late to the church. I found out later it was a good job I was so late as people were late and arriving just before I came . My priest was not worried at all and did I wasn't late looool.I am so so glad I had a photographer and if you remember me asking about videography in the end I did book one and I am so so happy that I did It's true what they say the day does fly by so I can't wait to see the video. We have our professional pics back and they are amazing. Saturday 24tj was scheduled rain and thunderstorm all day so I was getting used to the idea of being a drowned rat on my wedding day in the morning after 9am it was raining then it stopped. All day no rain no thunder. Was fantastic. My advice is get a photographer and videographer if your budget allows. If you want certain pics allocate some1 to make sure this happens. Photography is a huge job and your photographer won't know wveryone to get them together. My videograoher was great at helping with this.I also went round all my tables to speak to my guests which I'm glad I did.If you have any photos that you want ask your photographer before they go.Don't worry about trials if you haven't had 1 due to me being busy and my original MUA and covid isolations I wasn't able to have a makeup trial.and I'm.glad now I didn't.If you are not used to makeup u may be surprised with how u look. I initially felt overdone when I asked for a natural glam but my photos look stunning and I don't look over one at all. And I had so many compliments on my makeup and it stayed all day no touch ups needed.Do have a toiletry emergency bag with you you top up your lips have deodorants hot days or sweat plus adrenaline you may need ro freshen up. Also paracetamolTake time to speak to your partner just you too. We had a top table just us no1 else which was lovely.I didnt have favours my friend couldnt make the candles in time no1 asked and I wasn't concerned. She will make 1 for me when the equipment arrives.I stayed in my heels all.day didn't change till I was going homeI wore a 2 tier veil which I kept on for most of the day did my first dance in it was fine. The veil was stunning I loved it so muchSmile smile smile remember you are on video loolSpeeches. People who usually don't speak or say much may surprise you. So allocate time for this. We had speeches speeches cake cutting first before we ate to get them.out of the way. My hubby isn't a speaker so I was prepared to speak on behalf of both of us and he blew me away with his speech.Enjoy yourself and if you want something at your wedding make it happen don't let people tall you out of it of you can afford it.Had about 70 people to eat maybe 80 in church. I bought visors incase guests wanted to wear these instead of masks if women were having their makeup done which they appreciated. Sanitisers were available and wer on evey table in the reception. My bridal party didn't wear masks or visors down the aisle. They had a choice and chose not too.Not everyone you invite to eat may come. We had about 6 people not come who said they were.I am Still in my happy bubble the day was amazing.
