Hair & Make Up Trial

I am getting married this July and I had my hair and make up trial the other week, she arrived at 8.30am and was done by about 10.15. I was absolutely thrilled with it and she really got what I wanted. I had taken the day off work and my mum was with me so we went to the bridal shop as I had arranged to try my dress on for the first time. Our appointment was at 1pm, we got to see the dress with the hair and make up and take pics. It was fab! I then went to pick my daughters up from school so they saw the hair and make up and was home and had it all washed off and hair down before he got home at 5.30pm! That was a busy day and took some organising but it can be done and was worth it to see the whole look!

I had to come straight home after my trial - I went for a compromise and kept the make up on all day but had the hairdresser take my hair down. My hair was still wavy (it’s usually straight) but I don’t think it spoiled anything for my FH. I don’t think seeing make up or hair will spoil anything - it’s the whole look together that he’ll see for the first time on the day . Also, practically, I didn’t really have any other option because it was more important to me to see how the make up lasted than to hide it from him!

H2B isn't observant so I didn't mind him seeing my makeup, but I did take my hair down and tied it back. We were going out for a friend's birthday that evening, so didn't want to waste my makeup lol! I also tried my dress on (H2B was out during my trial at home) afterwards to get the full look.
