Hair Straighteners

I had 9 inches cut off my hair at the weekend and while I'm happy with it once the shock wore off, I'm now in need of some decent hair straightners. Which ones do you use?

The ones I've just ordered were £119 off the GHD website, but they were limited edition ones with coloured plates. I think the normal ones are about the same though.

GHD's all day long. H paid £150 my new ones but they were part of a delux set I got a hairdryer and a bag thing with them. The straightners on their own cost anything between £100-£130 depending on which ones you get.

I had the first GHD's with the static cable and they blew with sparks coming rom the cable. My 2nd pair had the cord that swivelled 360 deg and they are still going strong. My 3rd pair were 2 years ago in the black and gold case with heatproof mat and they bleep then switch off if left unused which gives peace of mind. I wouldn't be without them now!
