Hairdressers at Wedding Fayre?

Mrs Bloom, 6 September, 2008 at 09:58 Posted on Planning 0 8

Hi everyone

Just a bit of research really...............

I'm the manager of a hair salon, we do a lot of bridal work, and in a couple of weeks time we are doing the hair for a fashion show at a wedding fayre.

We've also been offered a stall at this wedding fayre where we plan to have our leaflets and price lists, and a slideshow running on the laptop of our previous work...........so my question is, would you be interested in speaking to a hairdresser at a wedding fayre to get ideas of what you could have done with your hair dor your wedding, and maybe sit and let a stylist have a play around with some upstyles for you?

TIA ?

Absolutely. I went to quite a few wedding fayres and there were make up artists there but not Hairdressers, and this is one thing I have really struggled with is getting my hair done. Plus to be able to get ideas of hairstyles and have some ideas tried on you, would be absolutely fantastic - do it, I think you will have a queue of people waiting to see you.

It would be great to have someone to talk to and get a rough idea of prices, etc. Not too sure how it works but to be able to get a rough idea of cost and how long it would take would be great!

Personally I have found it quite intimidating sometimes going into a new salon so it might put people at ease to be able to meet you first and then know who they are going in to see IYSWIM?!

I like the idea that you've got examples of you previous work.

I found it hard to pick a style i wanted & all the hairdressers i asked didn't have examples of previous work , apart from the one i chose.

So this alone would sway it for me , good luck.

1000% yes!!! It would be amazing to talk to an expert about what could be acheived from my hair (very curly) and would defo give more confidence. I ❤️ the idea!!

I've been to a few fayres and seen this. you could get the stylists to work on each other, and do the models hair at your stall. That way, people will actually see the creation taking place as it were. Will draw people's attention more.

    xx
