So I ventured forth to the Bullring today for the first time in 7 weeks (I missed you!!!) and was MOST perturbed to see that the Fiorelli handbag shop has been replaced with a Radley one. WTF?! When did that happen and why was I not told? I'm sorry, but I just don't "get" Radley bags. I just think...

When did that happen and why was I not told? I'm sorry, but I just don't "get" Radley bags. I just think they're for woman of a certain age. I just can't see the attraction in an otherwise dull bag with some silly dog motif on it. I adored the Fiorelli shop and have three of their bags plus assorted gubbins. How can they do this to me?! Hazel, I don't think I'm their target customer, if it's the YM market they're after ?.

    Still, I can but dream.

I love my bag (although JMP did not talk to me for about a week when he saw the bank statement) , but for my use now, it's bloody fantastic & well worth it.

Sorry I dipped out for an hour or two to make conversation with H who fiiiinally got home.

I haven't put Fiorelli on a pedestal as I think Marmalade Atkins suggested earlier - I used them in comparison with Radley because that the Radley shop replaced the Fiorelli shop. If we've talking pedestals, then I want the squeeshy yellow "Soft Babe"Dior bag that SJP is modelling in this week's Grazia. Yum.

Pretentious git NickJ? God yes - when it comes to bags and shoes I have pretentions WAAAY above my means. But hey, I can dream ....

Some bags I like, some I don't. I have one Fiorelli bag, that's fab as it carries A4 stuff, no radley bags, as the only ones I like I feel are overpriced (the plain ones, the dog isn't enough to sway me), and some other designers. Bar Mulberry (asI love 90% of their stuff), I'll buy the bag depending on if I like it, not who made it. Perhaps I'm odd.

Then again I'd also rather buy shoes.

I have a couple of Fiorelli bags that I got in debenhams. I don't consider Fiorelli a brand in the same way as radley.

I am clearly in the minority as I like Radley specifically FOR the little dog, whereas everyone else seems to want to hide it. It's a dog thing...
