Hangover kits!

LiverpoolB2B, 17 May, 2016 at 10:32 Posted on Planning 1 12

Hi Ladies!

Im 17 days to go (OMG!!) and I'm just planning on putting together my hangover kits for the guests which will be placed on the bar during the evening reception! I wasn't going to do it but my sister recently went to a wedding and said it was a very welcome sight in the morning!

So far I've ordered the little bags which are white and gold striped, the 'hangover kit' stickers for the front of them with our wedding date on and I've been and bought to go in it;

wrigleys chewing gum (1 stick per kit)

haribo mini pack of sweets

lemon hand wipes

paracetamol (will cut out x 2 per kit and a little photo copy of the back of the pack)

Plasters for any cuts or blisters!

but it I can't think of anything else to go in them! Any suggestions?? Smiley smile xx

    Hi!

I am 17 days too! oh my god...!

We have hangover kits too! I have mini hessian bags to put all the bits in and i am going to tie each one around the neck of a bottle of water.

So far I have a plaster, 2 headache tablets (did the same as you and cut them out of a strip), a mini pack of love hearts (sugar hit) 2 individually wrapped mints and thats it! It is so hard! America seems to have lots of mini travel sized bits for these but I can't seem to find them over here!

I was thinking of putting in a berocca but again.. can't seem to find them individually wrapped so we might just put an orange in each bag instead!

I also saw someone had put in sample sachets of eye cream which I thought was funny but seems to be expensive!

    Any ideas welcome! ?

This is a really good idea. I think I will just make a bowl up of accessories for people to take if they need them and bring it into the breakfast area for us all to help ourselves as we have private breakfast the morning after. I dont handle alcohol mysef that well (terrible hangovers even on just a little bit these days) and dont want to not be there for breakfast so Im going to be making use of this idea even if no one else does. ?

It's so hard isn't it! I like the idea of bloody Mary's, maybe I could put in a Bloody Mary recipe card for them that might be quite nice!

Yeah i I wanted to do some little vitamin C things but nothing is individually wrapped is it!

I always need a diet coke the morning after! How about one of those teeny cans of coke, they are about 330ml I think. LOVE this idea! I might make some up and leave them out for people to take as they leave at the end of the night!x

What about individual alka selzer is little bags with a label saying plink plink fizz!

The big greasy fry up would sort my hangover out lol.

Agree with Katie - a diet coke is my go to in the morning when I have a hangover!

I know some people swear by Pro Plus too.

How about little sachets of coffee (like you get in hotels) so people have a caffeine burst available?

    Just a thought.

You can get kids chewable multi vits in blister packs like paracetamol, maybe you could cut those out the strip. Probably cheaper than buying a million packs of alka seltzer xx
