Has anybody got a Maggie Sottero light gold sample piece of material?

Hi, this is probably a long shot but ... has anybody got a Maggie Sottero light gold material sample that I could buy/borrow?

I hadn't planned on ordering my dress until November/December this year, but would like to try and colourmatch the dress with the mens cravates/waistcoats.

I've rang Maggie Sottero helpline and they say that I have to request a sample via my bridal shop. I've rang the bridal shop and they say that I need to pay a deposit for the dress before they give me a sample. I'm in a catch 22 situation, as I can't really afford the 50% deposit for the dress at the moment.

Can anybody help?

    My dress will be satin. In view of other thread, do you think it will differ much in colour? I'm going to be spending over £700 on a Maggie Sottero dress and I can't even get a chuffin colour swatch from them unless I order via a shop!

    Argh! I feel like looking at another dress designer but I guess they all work on the same principle?

    Not sure if it will be a different shade, but it could be.

    I got mine when I ordered my dress from the shop.
