Has anyone bought cheap bridesmaid dresses of eBay and the like?

I ordered three from china!! They fit and look lovely on all three girls. The cost £36 with Postage! Im very happy but i have read some horror storys. The only thing with my dresses i ordered a coral colour and to me the look more salmon/pink but im not fussed and i dont have a colour scheme as such to stick by!

I got my four from okdress in china. Colour was not quite what was expected but I still liked it. Three of them all need taking in at the bust as were quite generous but the BMs like them so no problem. Just remember the customs charge and tax which brought them in at around £55 each. It is a risk, but worth it IF you can afford to lose the money if they are rubbish. My only complaint was that they smelt! Was a cross between copydex glue and fish! Apparently that's from being wrapped in plastic and stuck on a container for however long. Have hung them up to air and they seem fine. A bit of febreeze should do the trick if the whiff is still there!!

Not from ebay but I got my bridesmaids dresses from a high street shop - roman originals - for £30 per dress.

They gave us 15% off in shop because were buying 5 dresses.

Might be worth looking if there is one near you?

These are the dresses im at work and cant send a pic until later but i will do.

I got my BM dresses from top wedding which come from China. They are fine although as others have said the colour is different to what I was expecting (actually I like it better) and the sizes are a bit funny so need a little alteration. Whilst it worked out well, it was a risk and I was very aware I could have been throwing away my money if they were rubbish! X

Mine are from Tesco (F&F - type in tesco wedding in google)! they were £50 but i got them for £35 with a discount code, and the quality is fantastic, all the girls love them. They are very similar to two birds dresses and they've got some nice colours in at the moment. Just a thought incase you didn't want to risk China..

OMG Mrsmalpass those dresses are lovely especially for the price wow. I've mentioned on this forum before about Ever Pretty Dresses (think they from china) and they always get good reviews and less than £50. Amazon uk sell them and its free postage and returns from a uk seller so if all goes wrong you won't lose your money. Also no extra tax that way. Am thinking of ordering some to see which ones my bridesmaids likes and send the others back.

i've seen them on friends from facebook weddings and they look pretty good, not cheap looking at all. I'd probably get them slightly altered though if budget allowed it. I've got 7 bridesmaids so the cheaper the better haha.
