Has anyone bustled a short train?

I have a wedding dress with a relatively modest train (I believe it’s somewhere between a court and chapel length but it’s hard to know until the length has been altered). My alterations appointment is in July but wondered if anyone had bustled a shorter train and what it looked like? Is there a recommended way of doing this?
