Have you ever slapped someone around the face?

It's such a comedy/drama queen like move.

I did. I was a teenager, and my sister was drunk and getting a bit hysterical, and I decided, in my slightly drunken state, that slapping her would get her attention. (I'd seen it on Eastenders or the like)

It was a comedy moment. I'm not sure she has completely forgiven me, even if she doesnt remember it that much. ?

I've done it accidentally on purpose. Mr K dared me to do it so I did. I honestly thought he'd duck and he didn't believe I would actually do it. Yes, we had been drinking!?

He had a lovely handprint on his cheek though and delighted in guilt tripping me about it for weeks.

No - do you think i should try it? i'm going out with ladies from work tonight in rochdale, so perhaps i should find a candidate? the only question is whether i should go for one of my friends or find someone new from the crowds for a slapping?

there are 3 other ladies going - i don't fancy my chances against M, so that leaves K or C. C's partner would have me 'dealt with' by paid heavies, so that leaves K, but she was in the year below me at school so it doesn't feel very sporting.

so watch out, weak-looking gents of rochdale out on the tiles on your own tonight - it could be you.

Yes I once slapped Mr Foo when I was ver ver drunk and felt so awful about it the next day and convinced myself that he was going to leave me because I was a terrible violent fishwife. So all very drama-queenish.

Yes I have. I was a teenager at the time and at the school disco. Very bizarrely the only one who sided with me was the girl's mum who perfectly understood. Unlike any of my friends.

Don't know that I'd do it now under the same circumstances. It's unlikely though!

    Yes, my mother ?

She smacked me like i was a naughty girl, so I slapped her back. She has never hit me again.

    I was 22.

She looked at me in astonishment, I looked at her as if to say "I am going to give as good as I get...."

Yes. I slapped a previous boyfriend in the face one night when we were out. He was horribly drunk and started saying really snide, vile things about my sister (who he hadn't even met). It gave me great pleasure to see the look of shock on his face, and the embarrassment I caused him in front of his friends.

I know, it's not big and it's not clever, but it felt great.

However, he was a particularly horrible pig who brought out the worst in me and drove me to do particularly uncharacteristic things. I poured a pint of cold water over him one night when he lay plastered on the lounge carpet (now that was fun) and thew his dinner on the floor when he was also being a pig.

I'm not normally prone to such rash things, I'm actually a very laid back person. He was just an evil man to whom evil things should happen.

I slapped a girl called Kelly whilst we were at school. She never forgave me. I slapped her because she laughed when someone grabbed me in a bear hug and wouldn't let me out. I think I was embarrassed. ? shocked us both.

Yes I slapped Mr G once as he looked far too superior as him and his friend had beaten me home ? I put it down to being pregnant and hormonal as I've never done it again!

No, I haven't. I'd secretly quite like to. I'd quite like to chuck a glass of water over someone, too.

Well, if you see us please don't mention to the others that i was considering slapping them ?

i think we go out once every 2-3 months, we're not hardened party-goers. and my wonderful h very kindly picks us all up at the end of the night and deposits us at our homes. which is particularly kind when you realise a bunch of sozzled and squealing women clamber into his car, and then he has to take the last one in with him ?

I've slapped my H when I was very very drunk and we were having a huge argument. I'm not proud of it at all. I've also done other stupid things like slamming a glass door, breaking the glass and then standing on it whilst I was drunk. That gave me a very severe wake up call and I don't really drink very much at all now. I limit myself to 3 large or 4 medium glasses of wine and that's it. No problems since. Makes me cringe thinking about stuff like that.?

    I did once.

I got involved in a bitchy slanging match in a nightclub over stolen bottles of bacardi breezers (them, not us!). I slapped one of the girls around the chops - she jumped up, grabbed my hair with all her might and I decked it snivelling and crying. The cow had a bloody death grip on my hair, so my friends jumped in followed by her friends and it turned into chaos.

The bouncers seperated us and took us into different rooms to calm down - threatening that the police would be called.

Cue me crying again and pathetically snivelling "but you can't call the police, i'm a civil servant, i'll get sacked".

    Not my finest moment.

I've always quite fancied someone throwing a drink over me, so I could use Anna's line from This Life - "If I'd known you were going to do that, I'd have kept my mouth open."

Again, yes, the shame. I was a teenager and discovered that my boyfriend had snogged another girl. I slapped him outside chapel in front of a large number of parents (I was house captain) - oh dear. In my pitiful defence, it had also been my birthday and I was sitting my Oxford exam the next day - I was VERY stressed.

I'm embarassed to admit after a drunken argument with a (at the time) boyfriend of mine I slaped him round the face. He had been flirting with a friend of mine, and I was young and naive.

I am really shocked now that I would have done something like that as I don't think women should hit men, the same as men not hitting women.

Yes. I slapped a girl called Anna when I was 18 because she had been spreading malicious rumours about me and others and was a smug cow. She deserved the slap. As an aside, she also looked like a troll and if you've ever seen a troll with a smug look on their face you would want to slap them too?

Never actually thrown a glass of water over anyone. Sounds very Alexis Carrington though. Would require some stonking shoulder pads and red glossy lipstick if it were to be carried out. ?

Oh, and it was in MY bed.

So thanks Neil, Nigel and marilyn ?

? We have mutual friends but thank God I havent seen him in about 6 years. I heard that twin and wife are still together - Ex moved out shortly after and back in with ex-wife and then re-married her. It ended in another divorce 2 years later and he is now 43 and has been living with his evil mum for years. I believe that Karma comes and bites you back on the bum.

I have had the same number for years and he sent me a text a month ago asking if we could meet up. I sent one back saying that I was busy for the forseeable future and never heard back!
