Hay/straw bale hire in Surrey

Hi everyone,

I was wondering if anyone may have recommendations on where to hire hay or straw bales in Surrey? I had a look at Party Bales but they came in t £500, which I thought was extortionate to seat only 50-60 people!

    Looks to be other hire options on google. Not sure which are near you. Any local farms you could ask as well?

    £500 is extortionate! You could buy them much cheaper. Is that something you'd consider? The smaller bales are around £2.50 (hay) and £3 (straw). Do you know how many you'll need? Also don't forget blankets to go over them... short summer dresses and scratchy hay/straw doesn't mix too well!

    Thanks everyone - I didn't know there were other hire companies so I will definitely look in to those. And we're out in the sticks with plenty of farm land around so I will certainly make enquiries to see if this is something any of the local farmers would consider!
