Help! Anyone got a Kitchen Aid mixer?

Roobarb, 28 September, 2008 at 16:48 Posted on Off Topic Posts 0 3

Mr R has been on and on at me for months to start using his Kitchen Aid mixer so I'm making him a cake this afternoon. However I don't know how it works and he's too busy at work to speak to me, and I can't find the instructions! ?

I am trying to attach the flat beater thingy to the metal thingy on the body of the mixer but I can't do it.

Can anyone help before I give up and just make the sodding cake by hand ? ?

On my kenwood, you push in and turn at the same time. Could it be the same?

    Try https://www.kitchenaid.com/assets/pdfs/product/ZUSECARE/9709785.pdf (amended link)

If that is no use, try https://www.kitchenaid.co.uk/app.cnt/ka/en_GB/pageid/pgsrvifuhome001 and put in the code for you actual machine. ?

Yep you have to push it up and twist it for it to click into place. to take it off you have to push it up and twist again.

? think I've got it on OK now. Well my kitchen isn't getting splattered in cake dough, although it is maybe making a bit of a funny noise ?
