HELP...... Are there any BYOB venues in Kent????

bajan-fox, 8 of September of 2014 at 21:55 Posted on Planning 0 3

I am struggling to find a venue that can hold upto 200 people where you can bring your own alcohol in kent, preferably near Canterbury.

Does anyone have any suggestions?

I think a lot of venues offer BYOB but will charge corkage either pp or per bottle

Lordswood Leisure Centre has the Grand Quee Suite, which can hold upto 500 people. Corkage is £5 per bottle (alcohol only)

Are you looking for an all in one venue or a reception venue? All village halls are BYOB and some of the less obvious reception venues such as barns/farms etc allow it too.

It's on the Kent/Sussex border, about an hour from Canterbury, but Swallows Oast in Ticehurst has BYOB and does not charge corkage for anything during the day and meal. They have a cash bar in the evening or you can pay corkage for evening booze.
