Help!! Hiccups

Hi all

I've been suffering from hiccups for the last three hours. Nothing will

cure these blinking things.

I've tried holding my breath. Drinking upside down. Holding my tongue. Any other suggestions?x

    What is your middle name?

    It is odd but any time I have been with someone who has hiccups asking that question it has got rid of them- not sure it will work over the internet!

    Know it will sound strange, if my son has hiccups he eats a banana and they go.

    For future reference I will be trying the middle name thing!!! But when I get them (frequently, annoying!) I find the only way is to hold my breath but take a massive breath so my lungs feel like they might explode, then after a few seconds suck in some more air and then hold that too for at least 20 seconds if not longer, it's hard to do but nothing else works for me!
