Help looking for affordable wedding venue

I cant recommend anything in your area, maybe look in the Hitched page and search barn venues in your area. Unfortunately when you are looking at this style of venue the costs are higher as they are an event space so is their only revenue source. We have gone for a reception at a Hilton hotel as we got the food for 50 day guests, 100 eve guests, wine on table (1/2 bottle per person) reception and toast fizz, overnight stay, complementary spa and golf days the week before for us and our nest man and MOH, all table linen, cake stand, DJ and planner for £6k, as they don't charge a hire space fee, so is far cheaper. The Hotel is fairly ne so the decor is nice and fresh and fits our scheme. It has also taken stress away from me as it is only one supplier to manage. We are having our ceremony elsewhere ( a ruined castle, so will have amazing photos) so there is an additional cost for that but still made it cheaper than a bespoke venue. Yay, so happy you found one! I liked that one and Tewin Barn. I hope you can get him to agree, sometimes is worth paying a bot more for what you want. If you are looking at them as a package just see what is included and if there are bits you don't want then try and negotiate them out and reduce cost. We were offered an all in package for 50 guests with ours, but when we looked at the cost individually for meals and drinks it saved us £1k by building our package as we have a few kids and non drinkers so was cheaper to pay per person off menu
