Help me with rings

I think both are lovely!! The only thing I’d say is that my engagement ring has 2 small pear shaped stones in, and one came loose after 6 months - apparently it’s quite common because the shape makes them harder to hold securely. No idea if that’s actually true, but just wanted to say! Xx

I prefer the top one although based on my own experience with my engagement ring, I would say think about how much you use your hands for your day to day job. My ring is quite tall set like the 1st pic and it has taken me a while to get used to not catching it or knocking it after only ever wearing flat or low set rings before x

My advice would be to think about what kind of wedding ring you'd like to sit next to it - the taller brilliant cut is taller to allow a straighter wedding band to sit next to it (what us designers call wedfit) whereas the pear shaped ring as it's so low would be better suited with a wedding band that curves around it I can't see from the image but if the pear shaped one has a picture frame (right angle) claw on its point it'll be more secure! X

Thank you! I haven't thought about the wedding band yet. I wanted to first choose the shape of the central stone, now of course I need to match a pair to each engagement ring.

You're right! It's the height of this ring that confuses me a little. I don’t wear too much jewelry every day and probably if I choose it will take some getting used to. But cathedral rings look so gorgeous.

They really do! The one in your pic is stunning! But go with what feels right, its going to be worn for many years to come so it has to feel comfortable and fit your personality. I am used to mine now and can't imagine wearing any of the others I looked at! I knew this was the one despite it being different to my previous every day rings xx
