Help!! My wedding dress hasn't arrived!!!!

Personally I would probably go to the shop and not move until they sort the situation out - show them how much it upsetting you - they might get a wriggle on then!

It doesn't take long to get a dress fitted but with 19 days to go, I would have lost my patience too.

Agree with M&M - I'd be going into the shop and demanding to know when it is arriving. It's now a month late.

I wouldn't panic but I also wouldn't leave it, go in the sale and demand it gets sorted NOW. I am sure it was a small fortune as all dresses are so you have a right to know where it is!

I have just been speaking with my Mum about this, I think she is more worried than me! Me, her & my Dad (reinforcement ?) are going to make a trip over to the bridal shop tomorrow and ask them to let us know what exactly is happening and when it will be in for definite. I can't believe that something as expensive as a wedding dress cannot be tracked when we send things like makeup and dvds by tracking services. My Mum is of the thinking that they may have forgotten to order it until I phoned in July to find out it's whereabouts (you can rely on parents to say the wrong thing whilst trying to be supportive lol!)

My Mum has phoned around other bridal shops to find out where has dresses in my size in stock so that if things don't go to plan I can arrange some appointments to try others in the next few days, which is very good of her ?

I'll keep my fingers crossed for you but I have a bit of faith!

And just as the others have said, you will still have plenty of time for alterations. A friend of mine had hers done the day before her wedding and it all turned out fine.

How do they know it has been dispatched if they can't tell you when? Surely they would have a confirmation of this somewhere? Sounds a bit iffy to me. Hope you manage to get an answer tomorrow.

Just phoned the designer direct who have said they won't discuss the order with me ☹️ I was hoping they might have been able to put me at ease. They wouldn't even tell me if they had actually dispatched the order!

Off to the bridal shop this afternoon to get some answers!

Bless you, this sounds like a nightmare. It should be trackable surely once dispatched. Definitely wouldn't leave the shop without answers!

Good luck - i would ask to see evidence that the dress has been ordered (stress that financial infomation is not significant and you just want to see acknowledgement of order and dispatch)

In an ideal world get the bridal shop to ring designer on speaker phone!

The bridal shop have just phoned - they say that my dress arrived in the country this morning and that it will be with them in the next couple of days. I have a fitting booked in for 3pm on Friday! YAY! I have asked them to let me know as soon as it is with them cos then I will finally be able to relax, although I am hugely relieved to know that they have now been able to track it and it's in the UK!!

Panic averted - I better call off the dogs!
