Help! Need ideas for kids table favours with a christmas twist!

Love the idea of stockings for the kids, they'll love them! When I put together kids bags for my weddings I go to the supermarket and raid their party sections. They usually have a pic 'n' mix style display with lots of little games, toys, crayons etc and then I buy an activity book or colouring book plus sweets!!!! That's always gone down well and kept the kids busy without blowing a lot of money, about £4-£5 per child.

If you want to keep the contents of the stockings Christmassy too, here are a few thoughts:

Candy canes, chocolate coins, xmas shaped rubbers, tangerine (of course!)

Otherwise/in addition, you could put little notepads and wax crayons to keep them occupied, or a little puzzle book.

I have made stockings for the children and filled them with a themed colouring/puzzle pack that i made, snowflake themed name kebabs, and a personalised bauble, for the older kids ive popped in a camera and a list of photos to take and for the babies they have a a book and personalised fleece blanket, bubbles etc.

These were for a christmas fair i did

I made these all at home initially for sons school fair but im using left overs for stockings.
