help needed with centrepieces!

naomiowen, 8 March, 2010 at 10:47 Posted on Planning 0 8

I have quite big rectangular tables and was wondering before i buy all the bits and bobs wether i should have lilly vases with roses (high & thin) or a cube with roses?(short & low) what would suit a rectangular table best?

I've got long tables too and i think i'm going with the short square vases.

I think it'll fill the table out more if you know what i mean. x

Long rectangular tables would look better with the square tank vases with Rioses like this:

Or if you want added height then go for taller Tank Vases for the Guest Tables & the shorter ones for the Top Table so that you are not restricting the view:

Kinda, it was a really cool pic that had about 10 tables and each table/vase would have a different type of flower but each vases flowers were in red/burgundy or ivory, so like table 1 would have red roses,

    table 2 ivory roses,

    table 3 burgundy peonys,

    table 4 ivory hydrandreas,

table 5 burgundy carnations etc etc! just wonderd if this would work when i only have roses in bouquet? or could it mean with only roses in bouquet this would work to my favour and it would make it look good?

or do i have HORENDOUS taste??lolxxxxxxxxx

    Hey Naomi,

I was having a browse at different things last night and saw on the Ikea website that they've got the small cube vases for £1.79 each.

Thought i'd mention it as i didn't know whether you'd be buying or renting your bits. ?

    xx
