Help to hide blushing

maisybelle, 18 April, 2008 at 16:17 Posted on Planning 0 14

Does anyone have any recommendations for creams etc which help disguise blushing? and would these be suitable to use on the neck area too??

I use benefit Boi-ing as I get rosy cheeks! Its really an under-eye concealer, but it works for me. Not everyones got the same skin type though

Chanel do a pot of white stuff that my friend used under her foundation that stops blushing coming through as she gets really red cheeks? I know you can get green tone stuff too - is worth asking on a few beauty counters.

I use Mac Studio Fix foundation which covers the redness pretty well on its own. I suffer really badly esp when I get hot!

Try No7 colour calming makeup base it works wonders. Use it under your foundation. I use it on lady's who have rosacea, brilliant.

I've heard that green tinting is the best way to cover up redness. Don't know which are the best products, tho.

Best product is the No7 Calming makeup base, the green of the base takes the redness away from the skin. If you put it on under your foundation but don't rub it in. Use your ring finger to dab it onto the red areas. The foundation over the top will hide the green.

Not sure if this helps, but occassionaly in some situations I get bright red and blotchy!
I was speaking to my boss about it and she does the same. She tells me that if she knows she is going into a meeting or situation that she is going to blush, she takes an antistamine tablet.

Now not sure if this works as haven't tried it out yet, but maybe it might help?
