I got engaged in June and really wanting to get a wedding venue booked for next year, either summer or early autumn 2024. I’m struggling with finding the right venue. I want something in Essex, a place where the evening atmosphere is great but also has a bit of a magical factor when walking down the aisle. So far we have viewed Crondon park, channels, oaks farm in Croydon and Gosfield hall. Gosfield hall gave us the most in terms of a ‘wow’ factor, but have concerns about the size of the dance floor and also that you have to book a minimum of 15 rooms, which according to some reviews are perhaps expensive for what they are.Does anyone have any thoughts on venues in Essex? What are some of the best you’ve been to, or where did you get married? I’d love to know some thoughts from real people as recoded can be misleading. Thank you so much!
