We are having a sand ceremony to include my 2 children in our wedding, we will be having 4 vases of different coloured sands which we will pour into a heart shaped container which will create a blended sand keepsake to remind us of the new family we are creating at our wedding, we have spoken to the boys and they are more than happy to have this and have chosen their sands. We don't want vows during this bit and will have my sister read out a paragraph explaining what we are doing before pouring the sands, but thought it would be nice for my 8 year niece to do a reading during this time also, something nice about family, but after searching through pages & pages of civil wedding readings, I can't find anything. Does anyone know of any that would be suitable as I'm struggling and we get married next month so need to get my order of service done quickly ?
