Help..Hen Night in Windsor

carolynd, 6 June, 2008 at 11:10 Posted on Planning 0 5

Help, I have never used one of these forums before so hope I am doing this right. My bridesmaids have organised me a hen weekend at the end of August for 8 of us but I now have the job or organising a single night out at the end of July for all the people that can't make the weekend, including the 2 mums.

I want to go to Windsor and the venue suggested to me for a cheesy night out (Chicago's Rock Cafe) can't accomodate us for food (well they can but we would all have to sit on seperate tables, which is too much politics for me, on who sits with who and who do I sit with) but we can go for cocktails and dancing in the venue. Can anyone recommend a good restaurant that would cater for a party of around 25 hens that may do a set menu for us to eat in before going on to Chicago's at around 10pm.

Any help is appreciated as I don't know the area particulary well but its quite central for all the people I want to invite.

Many thanks in advance from a very stressed bride.

    Hi,

I went to hen night in Windsor and it was great! We went to Brown's for drinks first before going to Jades Palace, it is a Chinese Resturant with a cheesie disco. I am sure the will be able to help you!

Thank you ladies - this is very helpful, I have just called Browns and made a provisional booking for us to have dinner there - am also going to look at Jades Palace.

Feel a bit releaved now knowing I have somewhere booked and the prices are reasonable.

    Thanks again.

Latino's is definately worth a try cos they have dancing on Friday and Sat evenings so you might just want to stay there instead of moving on. Also Jasmines opposite the castle is worth a try. It is a chinese that has a disco at the weekends so you could just stay there.
