Hen Night Etiquette - Who to Invite

misslynx, 17 of July of 2015 at 17:53 Posted on Planning 0 2

Hi all,

My hen party is to be a chocolate workshop (limited places) followed by lunch and a spa afternoon then the option to drink/stay over chatting/gossiping.

Due to the first part being just for 12 people, I am wondering who I should invite!

1. Do you invite all friends or just those coming to the wedding?

2. If your partner has a couple he is friends with attending, should you open the hen to the woman of the couple?

3. As it is limited numbers, should I ask those I want there first? Do you think that would cause issues for the rest?

Any thoughts or advice on what you have done welcomed :-)

You should invite the people you really want there!! If you have space left then you can ask other people if you want. All of the ladies on my hen weekend were my best mates and I didn't invite anyone because I felt I should! x

I wasn't sure what to do so I applied logic of only inviting those i socialise with away from my h2b as well as in a group of couples.

I only invited those i'm friends with. I didnt invite male friends wifes/GF's just for the sake of it.

I've generally only been invited if I'm close to the bride and attending all day, not just invited to the evening.
