How long before the wedding are people having their Hen/Stag Do? I don't want it too close but I don't want it too far before either.

    Mine is going to be about 4 weeks before, enough time to recover but not to far in advance, also, means we will be going outside of peak time so will be cheaper!

    Mine was last weekend, 6 weeks before the day. Any I have been to have been between around 4 - 8 weeks before. The organising usually starts about 6 months before though, trying to get everyone to agree dates, activities, costs etc

    This is what I'm thinking as I'm getting married middle of August I'm thinking end of June before its holiday, kids school holiday season etc.

    Thank you, I think I'm going to do 6 to 8 weeks before, I have told my maid of honor (sister) and my 2 cousins that they can sort everyone out with payments and dates and invites. I've just told them what I want to do 🤣

    We've not planned ours yet but our wedding is next September. We are thinking early July so 2 months before. This avoids the school holidays.
