Hibs help please, wrist corsages.

fluffymalone, 11 October, 2010 at 19:34 Posted on Planning 0 17

Hi

im looking at getting my mum a special wrist corsage made but Im having trouble finding one to go with her outfit (see below, minus the hat).

My colour scheme is cadbury purple and ivory but I know that wont go with the colours in her dress.

She is also struggling to find a Fascinator, which isnt too big or too small?

Looking for an ideas pretty please x

Personally, I think a wrist corsage would detract from the dress. The dress is fantastic as is the detail of the brooch at the side. My recommendation would be a small handbag corsage in ivory especially if it's 3/4 sleeves which it looks as if it may be from the photo.

You could have a wrist corsage made to compliment the dress like this with feathers & beads in a coordinating colour:

or something with a single flower:

I really like that but think she is looking at something similar to that for her fascinator, do you think it would look too much to have one on her head and her wrist iyknim??

Just having a look on your website sherrie.

Like the lillies and roses. so much to chose from ?

Would she would like some sparkle to it. Woudl you go for the smae sort of colours of the dress? As i said really dont think purple would go at all!?

You could have mainly Ivory with just a hint of Cadbury Purple in there. I think the purple would look fine with Taupe.

Have a look through my albums as I can use & adapt any of the flowers on there:

These are the ones I like the most

    BH1

    BH21

    BH4

    Fave being BH1

And a bit of sparkle to tie in with the brooch on the dress?

    Hey fluffy

I know you are already in contact with Sherrie who does some fab things; but feel free to have a nose at my site. I'm a trained milliner & can design & make your mum at fascinator to suit her outfit too.

    Thanks

    K

Hi - Sorry, just seen your reply. I do make wrist corsages and also handbag corsages although the handbag corsages are a little difficult to make via mail order because ideally I would need the bag too. Unfortunately, I don't make fascinators - would love to learn though! There are some wrist corsages on my website in the bridesmaid's gallery although it looks as if you're pretty much sorted with Sherrie. Brenda
