Hello! It's up to you when you legally change your name.

Just make sure that whatever name your passport and legal documents say at the time you travel are the exact same as the name you booked the flights, hotel etc etc under.

If you change your passport, but book the flights using your married name (or vice versa) you will run into issues at the airport!

Have you considered Costa Rica? I went as the teacher on a school trip back in 2019 and it was incredible. Beautiful country, beaches, volcanoes, animals, tropical rainforests, great food and friendly people. We were staying in basic accommodation but could see lots of lovely hotels and resorts because it’s a popular tourist destination from the US. If I hadn’t been so recently then I would have booked there for ours!


Alternatively, we decided to travel West coast USA: Vegas - Grand Canyon- Joshua tree national park - LA and finishing with 5 days at Huntington Beach. But there’s lots of alternatives in that area. Just gives us a nice mix of sightseeing, experiences and relaxing.
