Honeymoon choices...

Hi all, I am starting to think about our honeymoon so that we know what kind of funds we need to leave in the pot! I want pure luxury and to go somewhere that you don't get to go to every day. And preferably somewhere without children. So my thoughts at the moment are: 1) The Bahamas with Sandals 2)...

I am starting to think about our honeymoon so that we know what kind of funds we need to leave in the pot!

I want pure luxury and to go somewhere that you don't get to go to every day. And preferably somewhere without children.

So my thoughts at the moment are:

1) The Bahamas with Sandals

2) Dubai and then on to The Maldives

3) African Safari then on to Mauritius

I was also considering Thailand but my dad is emigrating there this year so we decided to save this trip for when we want to go and visit him!

We are getting married in July so the weather may be an issue. I checked the Bahamas and July is the hottest month with a chance of rain. The Maldives could also have rain but I checked reviews and a lot of them said it rained for short periods or overnight. Africa and Mauritius doesn't seem to be that hot with an average of 25 Celsius.

My OH gets bored easily so we will need somewhere where there are things to do.

Does anyone have any experience with the above destinations or any ideas? Where are you all going for your honeymoon?

Additionally, can anyone recommend an independent travel agent who can help us to decide? I was thinking of using trail finders but their nearest branch is in London and, ideally, I would like to meet face to face to discuss.
