Paphos, Cyprus, brilliant destination as I have been there before, highly recommend it!

Hoping for Maldives if we can afford it!

We are thinking island hoping around Thailand, if we can ger the time or can afford it!

We went to Cornwall - went back for our first wedding anniversary and hope to go back for our second one too!

We’ve booked just over 2 weeks in Sri Lanka - so excited already!

Tuscany, Italy! Can't wait to eat all the pasta!

Hoping for somewhere in the Caribbean maybe! We are getting married in portugal so want something totally different for our honeymoon!

Hoping to go back to New York, which is where he proposed, for a week and then go somewhere warm and beachy for a week from there!

Majorca for 7 days. We have kids so wanted somewhere with short/frequent flights if we needed to get back, but we’ve booked a rooftop suite in a 5* adults only so it’s that little bit more special x

We are booking the Maldives and then Venice for 2 nights to finish the trip off. We are going 3 months after our wedding though due to childcare issues and work commitments.

Also getting married in Portugal!

Not yet! We have been looking at the Caribbean and the weather there is meant to be a lot better in February time, so potentially there. Also looking at Malta, its somewhere i've been quite a few times and i do love it, but the weather is hotter in June/July/August time there x

We are doing four nights in Boston and doing day trips from there to Salem and Martha's Vinyard etc. Then the train to Manhatten for five nights. We have been a few times before and it's our favourite place. Then flying to Mexico for a week from there. We get married in November but have booked honeymoon for March next year so we have something to look forward to after the wedding 😂

I used to travel to the Caribbean a lot for work and February is a GREAT time to go! Worth investigating some of the smaller islands as they can be cheaper - Grenada is my fave and the plane stops in St Lucia as standard so if you wanted the classic honeymoon spot you could easily do a few nights in each

We’re looking at a safari for 4 nights and then to fly on to Seychelles/ Maldives for 10! 😊

Week in the Maldives with a night on the way there and way back in Dubai. We have chosen to go business class and it is costing a fortune but for us it’s worth it. We both work really hard and have an awful lot going on in the last couple of years and we never go away without the kids so this is a once in a lifetime trip for us x

Cuba. 4 days in Havana then 10 on a beach

We’re thinking Greece, Cyprus or Hawaii at the moment. This could change.


Anyone had any experiences of these places? Any recommendations are greatly appreciated.

We wanted Mexico but it’s rain season in August. Thought about Malta but it’s really hot in August so that will be another holiday as newlyweds instead.

The Amalfi Coast. Booked a hotel in Praiano and will be visiting different towns along the Coast. We've been to Italy on 3 separate trips together to Florence, Rome and Venice where he proposed. Love Italy so much. Great scenery, food, wine and people.

View quoted message This is not me at all putting it down, it was lovely and we had a great time! But I wouldn’t class it as luxury, I think anywhere is romantic with the right person but cyprus no more so than, let say, Spain for example. But I’m sure it differs across cyprus too!
