Honeymoon in Maldives Meeru or Reethi

Hi we are looking to book our honeymoon asap! We are doing a tour of Sri Lanka for 8 days and then the Maldives for 10. Everyday we are indecisive it gets more expensive so we need your help! The cheapest island for the Maldives that our Kuoni rep has given us is Meeru and Reethi. We would like to know any experience of both. We are concerned Meeru may be too populated for our honeymoon and that the beach villas are all packed together. However Reethi doesn't seem to have as much included in the all inclusive. For example, no sunset cruise!

Help please!!! We want to book tomorrow!

    Reethi, without a doubt. Went this year and its amazing. I don't think you should pick Meeru over Reethi because you get a free sunset cruise.....

    Meeru is infested with rats, thats what I found when I read reviews etc, I would not go here for your honeymoon at all.

    Try B&B on Reethi? Then you can eat the other restaurants in the evening, they are very cheap and most people reccommend doing things this way.

    Its what we did, all in we spent £3,500 including our spending money (three trips too). That was 10 nights, Beach Villa, through Hayes & Jarvis.

    If you haven't read reviews on trip advisor I would strongly suggest you do.

    Did you manage to book your honeymoon?

    I'd love to help as there are plenty of other resorts to look at, some which Kuoni don't offer that may be more affordable and suit you and your partner better.
