How do i tell my Dad he’s not walking me down the aisle?

I’ve been engaged since September 2022 and we’re getting married in October this year.


I decided a while ago that I’d like my mum to walk me down the aisle. I have an amazing step dad who’s done a lot for me and has been around most of my life, and as much as I love my dad, he has let me down more than a few times.
I couldn’t choose between my dad and my step dad, and didn’t want both, so decided on my mum. She has also been my only constant and my rock.
I’m planning on telling my dad tonight that I’m asking my mum to walk me down the aisle. Looking for some last minute advice, please 😇
