How does the Hitched invitation system actually work?

Hello, hello! We're in the process of arranging our invitations on this site. I tried searching for this question, but it proved tricky to find the answer.

We want to send a test invitation to a made-up guest and see how it all works, but when we go to send the test invitation it looks like it might go out to all the guests!

Also, when you send out an invitation to one half of a couple, will the invitation show the names of both invited guests?

Thanks for your feedback to Hitched.
In the online invitation editing page when you select 'Save & Send' it does not send straight away, it takes you through to a new page so you can select which guests you would like to send the invite to, so in this case, you could select just your 'test' guest
The invitation does not show the names of the guest/s so you may want to personalise them separately and do unique messages if you wish to send one invite per couple/family.
When a guest comes to RSVP they will be given the option to RSVP for anyone you have linked to them so they will be able to respond on behalf of the couple at that stage.
