We are getting married in just over 18 months and are looking for quite a different cake with a specific design however, I am open to options to alter the design and made it clear that the budget isn’t an issue.
I had a meeting with a cake maker who said they would explore the cake options etc and get back to me with a quote, that was over a month ago. I heard nothing so sent another email however, there still hasn’t been a response.
How long should I leave it before approaching someone else? I have found another cake maker who’s designs align with our vision however, I don’t want to then approach someone else and the initial supplier comes back and I’m left in an awkward situation.
It is a summer wedding, so during peak season and everything else is booked so we could get the suppliers we wanted.
