how long do you wear your veil?

I wore mine all day but took it off for the evening do- I had a birdcage though.

I suppose it's up to you really! I'll either take mine off after the ceremony, or just before the evening reception, as it's floor length and will get in the way in the evening.

I suppose as long as you can tolerate it! It's very much dependent on size and comfort

Will it ruin my hair taking it ou?

Dont know how long to keep it in for. All photos inc reception or none from reception onwards. Idk

I am going to take mine off after the ceremony...I will feel weird wearing it outside of Church. This sounds RIDICULOUS as I will be wearing a floor length white dress, full make up and flowers in my hair....but it will make me feel a bit over dressed...! ?

Like the others have said, it will depend how comfortable you are!

I had a cathedral length veil which was a bit of a pain! we had our ceremony, then photos during drinks reception then our TOG too me & H off for photos while everyone was ushered in for the meal. before we went in I went to the loo, touched up my lippy and took my veil off. Thought it would be a pain sitting down and trying to eat with it still on!!

My veil slid into the top of my hair so it was pretty easy to whip out!

I had a waist length veil and kept it on all day. I think my hairdo would have looked a bit odd without it. I can see that you'd want to take it out sooner if you had a longer one though.
