How long is a church of england wedding service?

Hi,

This sounds like I want to rush through getting married but it is more of a practical thing as i have a little one and need to plan ahead! I just wondered if anyone knew how long an average service is?

    Mine was about 45 minutes

    Not long if I remember rightly! I think the service itself is only about 20 minutes or so, so if you pad it out with a couple of hymns, readings and an address by the vicar I think they usually last 30-45 minutes. Somebody please correct me if I'm wrong!!

    I think they're normally 45 mins to an hour!! Well the ones we've been to were ?

    Wow! That quick!!! I have only ever been to civil ceremonies or catholic, two extremes!
