Hello!
My partner and I have recently got engaged and we are thinking about a 2024 wedding. The first “hurdle” is that we want two ceremonies - a legal ceremony + reception in the UK where we live (and he is from), and a religious ceremony + reception in Romania (where I am from).
I am not totally sure how long to leave it between the two - there wouldn’t be a lot of people travelling to Romania; just any of his close family members who wish to.
Do you think 2 weeks is long enough, or would 4 weeks be better? We’re trying to figure out dates but we just don’t know.
We’d be really grateful for any advice, especially if you have been in this situation before.
