How long will it take to grow back??

For some reason I felt like a change yesterday so I went to the hairdressers and had my beautiful long hair cut so it sits just above my collar bone.

I wasn't too sure how much I liked it when I left the hair dressers. The last time I'd had my hair this length was when I was 15 (I'm now 31)

I was hoping I would wake up today and decide I like it - sadly I haven't [:'(]

My friend has said once you have had a good cut like mine the hair will grow pretty fast. Is this true? I'm wondering how long it will take to get to a nice length again (mid back)

I'm so annoyed I did it, but at least I know it will grow back eventually!!

    Hi, I used to have really long hair right down my back.

    In November 2006 I had it cut to just above my shoulders and I hated it. My hair grows really quickly and Ive only had it trimmed every 8 weeks or so. Now its say just to my boobs so its taken 18 months to grow back. id say it would take me another year to get the length it was in 2006.

    I cut mine from bra strap length to elfin short in Nov 2006, and now I'm growing it back out for the wedding and decided this is July last year. It's now at my shoulders (about the length you have) and I have been taking "Hair, skin and nails" vitamins from Boots which has helped.

    Thanks. Maybe I'll give these a try. I think if it was a couple of inches long I would like it much more.
