I was the same with my maiden name. I've a common first name but my surname was Ukrainian (and apparently unusual there too).

According to the link that the OP has posted, there are only 4 people that share my (married) name in the UK.

Hmmm, just tried electoral roll with my married name and there are 40 of us in the UK...

Gosh I thought I was pretty unique but there are 9 of us in the UK apparently!

I didn't recognise my first name as it's hyphenated (Sarah-Jane) but when I put just Sarah in I get 451.
